We barbequed and I made four different salads, plus jello for the kids. A couple of weeks ago I made and froze pesto with basil and parsley from the garden. I used it to make a cold pasta salad that also had grape tomatoes and chunks of mozzarella. It was really good. I also made a potato salad with new potatoes and celery and parsley with a vinaigrette that was yummy too. We also had a regular green and fruit salads and cheese and crackers and veggies with dip. It was a busy day of cooking but it turned out really well. The best thing was the homemade ice cream my dad made. Peach raspberry- yum. It was sooo good!
I'm a stay-at-home mom of five who likes photography, quilting, reading, cooking when I'm in the mood, watching movies, going to the beach, home renovation and decorating, swimming, and hanging out with my kids. At the moment I'm a bit obsessed with Downton Abbey.
