There were so many cute ones of her I couldn't decide which ones to post! So she gets her own post of all of my favorites. This is one of the pink dresses I bought the day after my ultrasound when I found out she was a girl. It made the perfect Easter dress. I stayed up till 1 AM on Easter Eve making her Easter basket, but I think it was worth it since I love how it turned out. It was lots of fun having a little girl to dress up on Easter for the first time.
My nine-year-old won third place in the Pinewood Derby today! He was so happy and proud. The Derby is kind of a big deal around here each year. This is our 8th straight year of Pinewood Derby participation. That's what we get for having 4 boys. I think by the time we are through we will have gone to 12 consecutive derbys! We (I use this term loosely) have made at least 10 cars so far because usually not only do we make one for the cubscout, we often make one for the younger brother. Anyway, the boys worked really hard on the car (my husband being one of the boys). At least he didn't slice open his hand and have to go to the Emergency Room for stitches like he did last year! Congratulations buddy!
Getting a good picture of sixteen cousins ranging in age from 15-6 months is not an easy trick, but I think we managed to take a few cute ones. All of these cousins had a great time playing together on our trip to AZ. They are all great friends.
The last six months have gone by really fast! She'll actually be 7 months later this week, so this is almost out of date. She is growing up to be such a sweet little girl, or not so little in her case! She weighed 20 lbs at her 6 month checkup and is in the 95th+ percentile for everything! She is sitting up, rolling over, and just cut her top two teeth. She has recently found her voice and loves to squeal and scream both when happy or sad, and especially when she doesn't get what she wants fast enough. She is truly a joy to have around, even though having a baby is a lot of hard work and can be exhausting. She is a real charmer and is very friendly to everyone, although she's kind of a mama's girl too. She is definitely starting to develop her own little personality and preferences. I feel so lucky to have this little girl in my life! These pictures are from a family photo shoot we did while in Arizona, so stay tuned for a bunch more pictures.
I'm a stay-at-home mom of five who likes photography, quilting, reading, cooking when I'm in the mood, watching movies, going to the beach, home renovation and decorating, swimming, and hanging out with my kids. At the moment I'm a bit obsessed with Downton Abbey.
I live in New England, and my favorite season is spring. I love the colors green and pink.
Welcome to my blog!
